Hello...

My boyfriend and I are looking to relocate to southern NH this June, as I have a job in Burlington, MA and we decided we would prefer to live in NH (with a little commute to work).

Thus we are looking for rental properties somewhere in southern NH no further north than Exeter and east of Nashua. Looking for ~2BR house/apt/condo (would prefer small house w/ garage, but open to consider nice apt/condo community) in a nice, safe area, fully applianced, +/- furnished, heat & hot water included would be nice. Looking to spend up to $1500/mo (cat friendly)

I have had a difficult time finding rentals in this area so if anyone had any suggestions, good websites, etc. I would greatly appreciate it!

Craigslist is a good source. Also try rent.com and forrent.com.

In Nashua, in a condo or townhouse $1500/mo w/ heat included is doable. Small house, difficult.

I second craigslist....seems to be the best resource for NH.

dmrossi, there are rental agencies in the larger 'cities' (Manchester, Nashua, Portsmouth, even Derry) but nothing like in many other places where there is a large rental market. As mentioned, craigslist or the NH MLS database at Northern New England Real Estate Network - Official Website of the Northern New England MLS. Agents now add their rental listings into the database.
