I know that's a general question, but I will be living on retirement/disability at least for awhile although I am hoping to get better enough healthwise (long story) to go back to work at least part time. Anyway, I'm a FtM transgender but most people see me as butch and it's not safe where I am (small city surrounded by small towns in TN). I know property taxes are high so I'm guessing that rent is probably high? I was just wondering about what it would run in like a smaller, cheaper area. I'll be researching my options over the next year or so. I don't "rub" who I am into peoples face but I do think I deserve to be safe. Anyway, any help would be much appreciated. Also I don't mind having roommates, etc.
