Hello,

I was wondering what is the best way to go about finding and securing jobs in Cherry Hill, NJ while still living in SC.
My husband and I are moving because his job is closing here, he is a cable technician with an extensive background in construction.
We chose Cherry Hill, NJ because I am finishing my degree to be a teacher in January and am looking to be a teacher. In the meanwhile I work as an administrative assistant and at a pre school. Also NJ will be good for him because he is in school to be a pharmacist and they have a great program near by.
We are both trying to find jobs and place to live before we move. If any one has any info to any aspect of this it would be greatly appreciated! Also does anyone know it the Resume Upgrade on CareerBuilder is a good idea? I am almost tempted to try it.

So you guys are moving before you have jobs here?! Yikes!

I think the Courier Post, a South Jersey newspaper, is a good local resource for jobs. Go to their website and search there. Good luck. It's a tough market out there. I would guess that you have lower salaries in SC than here so maybe that will give you a leg up on the competition.

Yea its pretty radical, but we have family there and he has some really good job leads, but nothing solid yet because they want to meet with him, but I have a really good feeling about it. Thanks for the advice about the paper though. We need to find a place eventually and I am guessing that is the best place to look as well.
