Which area is better and why? I am moving in the next 6 months and need to find the "perfect" area. We have three kids that will start school next Sept. Suggestions?

can't go wrong with any of these areas... The home you find at the price you want will dictate where is best for you guys

Well, obviously schools are important to you, of the three you listed Cinnaminson and Mt. Laurel have the better school systems. After that, it would all come down to budget and what you want. You can't really go wrong in either town, though there are less desirable sections of Mt. Laurel. Between the towns you posted I would personally rank them: Cinnaminson, Mt. Laurel, then Delran.

The choice would really come down to what else is important to you in terms of commuting, shopping, town flavor, etc. If you post up more details, we can help you narrow it down further.

We are looking for a 4bdrm single with about 2k sq. ft under $300k. My wife and I will have to commute into the city every day.

Is she planning to use public transportation? Under $300K for 4bdrm in Mt Laurel may be a little tough.. I say around $350K in Mt Laurel get you a really nice home..

We both work downtown and drive. Is there any parts of Cinnaminson that we should stay away from? Is it better on the east or west side of Rt 130?

East side is generally considered the better side, though the west isn't really bad. Given your budget and desires I think Cinnaminson would be a nice fit and you would have easy access to drive in by car and take the train (Cinnaminson Riverline stop to PATCO in Camden to Philly) if you ever needed to.

FYI, downtown is called Center City.

I agree with GOAT about the public transportation suggestion.

Delran and Cinnaminson are better for commuting to Philly, since all you have to do is drive down Rt 130 and then merge onto Rt 73 north for the Tacony Bridge, which had a cheaper toll than the others, although I have heard from more than one person that they jacked them all up to $5 recently. These two are roughly equivalent. Cinnaminson is slightly closer, but with Delran you have more of a buffer from the Camden/Pennsauken/Palmyra elements and the bridges into PA. You really cannot go wrong in either one, it depends on what you want.

Mt. Laurel is a low third considering your criteria. Schools are fine there, but the commute is not nearly as good.
