Can you further elaborate 'totally different demographics'? Thanks!

Also, kids with disabilities is not an issue for me at all, I am more worried about harassment & bullying. I was wondering if that was the reason Johnson elementary had a lower rating. Also, the home that I like is 'assigned' to Johnson. I found out I can apply for open enrollment in other elementary schools (AR Knight, Woodcrest) and will have to wait till summer to find out if my child got in. I am looking to close on a home sooner, so I am thinking we should just focus on other neighborhoods that feed into higher ranked schools.

Take a look at the report.

The low rating is probably mostly affected by the lower scores. The NJAsk test are grade level test. Their passing rate is nothing to brag about. Especially if you look at the Hispanic category. Even the Asian category is low for test that teachers and student spend weeks preparing for.

BTW.. when I was referring to disabilities. it wasn't supposed to be positive or negative. It's more about whether the school can address the issues.

As I told you, the ratings depend heavily on the test scores. Have a bad test, you get a bad rating. That's why I said to ask about the history of the test scores.

My children's elementary school has jumped around. When we first bought, it was rated a 10 and now it is a 5. I don't understand what has happened. You are fine in CH. It has a very good high school.
