Just got a letter and at the bottom was the traditional small print... states that the price to compare is 10.19 cent per kwh verses 13.15 cents per kwh for atlantic city electric...atlantic city rate does drop in the winter to the lowest I checked on past bills was 10.52 cents per kwh so it looks like a pretty good savings in the summer months if it locks in at 10.19 and even a small er savings in the winter...will call and see what the entire deal is... they also want in the letter for me to sign up for gas also but gave no info in the letter...will get back after THE CALL...OldManDave
I looked into the companies mentioned here, and so far the rates were not that great. Getaway was rate like .1099, yet I found CONSTELLATION ENERGY which will give me a rate of .1011 If I commit for 30 months, however I can cancel at any time!
I did call them and signed on for 1 year.. I locked in the electric rate which going back over the past year was under Atlantic electric every month. Signed on for gas also... the young lady suggested I do the variable rate for January and then consider locking in after that as the rate may be lower. I found her to be extremely helpful...didn't dodge any questions. I can quit the variable anytime with no penalties the electric lock in does come with penalties. They will also send a gift card for $75.00 after the first month's billing is paid. Will post again sometime in March to update if I am totally pleased. Good luck. OldManDave

hey all! i happen to be a door to door guy in Jersey for Gateway Energy Services and I have all the information that you could need about rates, how the program works and promotional rates going on. You can reach me on my mobile at 856 701 3121. My name is Jonathan
Well Energy Choice Plus didn't pan out. Out of the last 3 months it was just above what I would have paid directly to PSE&G. (Within $2-$3 but higher)
So I just switched to North American Power. Their claimed rates are much lower. We will see.
I just changed my Gateway electrical contract yesterday from variable to fixed at 10.4 cents a KWH. The variable rate was creeping up.
