We are currently renting a townhouse in Florham Park. We like the area, but not the townhouse. We won't be renewing our lease and have started looking for areas to move. I'm hoping someone on this board could give me some guidance.

My dh works in Kearny, we'd like his commute to be 20 miles or less(currently is). With that, I realize we can go in any direction, but which is the best direction? Meaning....to Westfield, to Bloomfield etc?

Schools are not an issue.
We would like the town to have a town center and train station nearby(not a must). Having a Whole Foods and Trader Joes nearby is a must

We will be moving in February, I realize that we may get a better rent rate during the winter(hoping). We would like to rent a house, townhouse or apartment(attached garage a must for under $2300.

Is my wish list do-able? Any towns come to mind?

Thank you!!

Thanks.

There are a lot of apartments in South Orange. I'm not sure that any have an attached garage.

There is a Whole Foods in Millburn and one in West Orange which are both close.
