I was hoping to get some suggestions on some things that I could do with a 2.5 year old this summer. I have some things already planned like Sesame Place and the Camden Aquarium, but am interested in other things that we can do, specifically outside stuff or other indoor activities. Does anyone have good suggestions for central/southern central Jersey area (I live in Mercer County). Thank you VERY much for any suggestions that you can make!
For 2.5 year old kids, they would love Chuck E Cheese a lot! We visit all CEC in New Jersey and each has different layout, games, machines and fun ... Be sure to print out some free coupons before visiting them.
Another places kids at this age love is playground of the park. Nice new playground can be found at Montville, Denville, Piscataway (has 26 parks), Highland Park, ...etc.
The Planetarium in Trenton has a Big Bird show running in the mornings this summer-

Just a pet peeve, but why is the ".5" significant? When I used to work for the newspaper, it always drove me crazy when I'd ask for a kid's age for a story and they'd say "three and a half." I never, ever, put the damn decimal point or "1/2" symbol in print.
The Animal Kingdom Zoo in Bordentown, NJ! This is like a "popcorn" zoo. You can buy feed (peanuts and fruit loops) and feed all the monkeys, wolves, birds, horses, giraffes, and every thing else around. It's pretty awesome for me, and I'm 26. Plus, if you stretch your arm and if/when the monkeys stretch their arms you can actually touch them and put the food in their hand.
Also I think their was a "Please Touch" Discovery Museum on Springdale road in Cherry Hill. I've never been there but it seems like a fun place for kids to go.
