Commuting from Jersey City,NJ to Pearl River,NY (Hoboken: moving to, train station)

Hi,

Can anyone help me out with the commute from Journal Square,JerseyCity,NJ to 401 NORTH MIDDLETOWN ROAD,Pearl River,NY.
Since i dont drive and i am fully dependent on the public transportation i wanted to know whether we have some option through public transportation.

I checked in the NJTransit and it states 18 mins walk from Pearl River station and also commuting through train takes more than an hour. Can anyone suggest me a better alternative or is that good to move to some other place so that the travel time will be reduced?

There is no easier way , unless you want to take a bus. Which can take up to 2hrs. I take the PVL alot , there are a few Express Trains. I bring a book or take pictures out the window if i have no work to do. The Scenery always seems to keep you busy.

Transit would be the best way. You say train would take over an hour, but it would take over an hour if you were driving as well

But even then i couldnt find a direct train or connecting train+bus till the address i have mentioned.

You have to go to Hoboken Terminal , and then take the Light Rail to the place in Jersey City. Which i'm assuming is Newport , Harborside , or Exchange Place like most ppl who use the train. Your not the only one doing it.

Please let me know is there any public transportation available from Pearl River Amtrak Station to 401 North Middletown Road, Pearl River, New York 10965(Pfizer)

Nanuet train station is closer. You'll be able to walk down North Middleton Road to Pfizer.

I am new to this forum and this website, so I hope it's ok to ask a follow-up question to another post. If not, please let me know and I'll start a new post.

I'm moving to NY for a job in Pearl River and would like to commute from Hoboken/Jersey City. It didn't look like NJ Transit has trains departing before 8:00 am. Are there earlier trains? I will need to arrive in Pearl River by 7:00 am. Is driving my best option?

Theres a 5:19 , 5:53 , 6:23 , 6:35 , 6:50 , 7:12 , 7:25 , 7:39 , 8:06am.

The Express Trains are at 5:19 , 6:23 , 7:12 if im correct , they have limited stops as opposed the full local train. I would arrive 10 mins before departing time.
