look at the expansion of government in america (spending, regulation, role in our daily lives) while the private sector is shedding jobs. everything he has done has moved us closer to communism. he is a communist, his aspirations are limited by congress and when the party takes over he is done with his communist revolution.
So I guess we should have continued to let Wall Street run roughshod and allow the credit card companies to engage in what amounted to legalized loan sharking, you know the kind of loosy goosy policies that got us into this economic mess to begin with? I'm for more autonomy, but we can't shrink government just for the sake of shrinking it.

government involvement in the mortgage industry got us in this. its funny how they pass regulatory reform when its really the government's fault that we are in this mess. they need to reform themselves (what the tea party is trying to do). how did wall street run rough shod? they did what they are supposed to do, make money. its government that opened up opportunities to make money where they shouldnt have been.
