I was looking at smart phones and I did an upgrade to a LG Vortex and after everything it came out to be 137.96 a month. Is that normal or too high? I picked some features that I think would be needed, maybe their not? No clue. This is also a Verizon acct. so I know right there thats going to be more money. I didn't click complete order lol I just wanted to see what the bill would be a monthly basis, any insight on this?

Hmmm ... sounds high to me. I've had AT&T since they were Cingular, and I have two lines, sharing 1,400 minutes a month, with one of those lines getting unlimited data (now a discontinued plan), and the other having a 1MB cap and 400 (I think) text messages per month.

For these TWO lines, I pay about $130 per month. How many minutes are you including in your package?

what are you trying to get? i can help you, but i need more info...

which vzw minutes plan did you choose? which data plan did you choose?

what "features" did you add?

basically, i have a 700 minute plan for myself and my wife (family share). my data plan is $30/month for the blackberry. so that would be $99.99, before tax. then, you can add the unlimited text plan if you plan on texting (i think they also have lower plans. i thought i texted "a lot", and i text about 400 per month. then i saw my sister's bill, she texts 3,000+ per month. so it depends lol

I have a smartphone with an unlimited data plan, plus another phone for my wife, and I'm paying less than $120.00. I am on verizon. the data plan is $30 a month, and the voice plans are $40 a month. Do you have a larger voice plan? I find I don't talk as much on my smartphone, so I have the cheapest plan.

I pay around $100 a month all up for my Verizon plan, data plan for Blackberry and unlimited texting. Data plan is $29.99 a month and unlimited texting is $10 a month on top of whatever minute plan you have.

Do you need the 3G mobile hotspot & Broadband connect? You will have your internet via your data plan so unless you want to be able to connect other devices to the internet via your phones connection this is not needed.
