St. Lukes/Roosevelt is supposed to be great: Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, New York, NY

Don't touch Beth Israel with a ten foot pole. It's a great hospital for other things, but not for birthing.

I've heard good things about delivering at HUMC, but I'd only go there if desperate. You might try asking the Hoboken moms yahoo group this same question though.

Default Dr. Rahula

Dr. Rahula delivered my cousin's 3 kids and my 3 year old son. In my opinion he is a great doctor. I delivered in St. Mary's Hospital in Hoboken, NJ. I LOVED that hospital. I had my own private room and someone came by everyday to take your lunch order for next day. Hospital very small and very clean. Only problem was visitor parking. My husband (baby's father) always got free parking by validating his parking ticket at the front desk in maternity ward.
