yea, I think I'm probably over estimating, It's probably more like 600 sq ft, that's just a very very rough estimate. I'll get more when/if we close and such.

Yeah, note that the earlier guesstimate from the other poster was based on your intitial 80 SF estimate (which I am guessing was a typo).

Yea it was haha, I really thing the plot is much smaller than that. I have to get in there and measure, but that won't be for another month or so.

I believe we have about 80 sq ft of coverage needed.

I'd be interested in knowing the following:

  1. Price (roughly)
  2. recommendations (companies who do this kind of work)
  3. Prep (is there anything I can/could/should do before getting this done?)
Thanks in advance!
i'd do a garden or do landscaping like others suggested any day. if you do a lot of wild plants than don't need much weeding maintenance, piece of cake.

if it's that small, you could just get a manual push mower to mow it. they're like $25.

My last estimation is that the yard is actually around 500 sq ft, including some shrubbery that's in it. My thoughts are that for the front yard I do want some grass like area, so artificial turf would be good so that there's at least a small area with grass on my land. Additionally a place for kids/friends to play potentially - there's not really any other area to throw a ball around or do anything like that, the backyard is all bricks and stone work and a coi pond.
