Anyone know of by off chance a sports bar that has any Texans groups that may use bar as "home base"

Trying to avoid going into city to watch games with fellow Texans. Live in Westfield, NJ (moved up this summer) and would like to watch game out somewhere, but also even better if that games audio is on rather than catch game without audio and hear the national game audio over the bar.

Opening game is vs. Colts so even if there is a Colts bar, will fly my colors in there too, but would like to find a long-term place to call home.

If anyone has any info, or a good sports bar suggestion where they are flexible and will "take requests" from their patrons, much appreciated!

You might be in luck in terms of bars being willing to put the game on one of their monitors since that game has a 1PM start time. Unfortunately, I have no idea about where other Texan fans meet up in New Jersey. Sorry. A quick search online yielded this site for Texans Fans. There may be fans from NJ that post there who might be able to help you out.

Just keep in mind that any bar up here is going to make certain the Cowboys-Jets game in the Meadowlands and the Giants-Redskins game in DC are going to be on.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Get direct TV and the Sunday ticket. Probably be cheaper in the long run than having to go to a bar every week.

But less fun

I doubt you will find a "Texans bar" in NJ. They are one of the least popular NFL franchises.

Buffalo Wild Wings in Watchung will have the game on though.

Go to the Fox & Hound bar/restaurant at Menlo Park Mall in Edison. They show every NFL game. My friend goes there every Sunday.
