Hoboken to Chelsea Piers- Best way to get there (bus, ferry)

Hi Guys,

I have a volunteering event to attend next Saturday morning (10th) at Chelsea Piers and am trying to figure out the best route from Hoboken. Hopstop is telling me to take the PATH to 23rd and walk back to Hudson. It seems a bit long, is this the most efficient way? Is there a ferry that goes?

Time savings over money savings preferably (aside from cabbing it all the way down of course).

Take the path to 23rd street. Then hop on the M23 bus from 23rd and 6th (going west). It drops you right in chelsea piers....

Agree completely with lauren810g. I used to play hockey and would lug around my bag up & down PATH stairs and then get on the bus (which take metro cards).
