Hi...
My family and I plan to relocate to NJ in 2012, as an opportunity through my work. We come from Denmark, Europe. We have relatives in Scotch Plains, but my work is located in Sommerset.

We hav an autistic son with relatively mild degree of autism. He is very social but with learning dificulties. Does anyone here have some input to which schools to look into? He comes from a small special needs school, with 150 students. Ususally 2 teachers and 8 students in each class.

I appreciate any input, with gratitude.

/Leon

I suggest that you contact Eden Autism Services, located in Plainsboro, NJ.
They are one of the leaders in education and training for the autistic.

Hi Leon,

I was wondering if you moved to Scotch Plains and if you can offer any insight into how the district is. I am looking to move there. My son is 11 and has Autism. Any insight you can offer about your experience would be great.
Much Thanks!
