If you see what I experienced – get out! All my years with what was a great employer and surrounded by a cast of great people, gone horribly bad. It started with a guy that performed with his mouth, was hired by a manager with the same load mouth talent. A normal organization would not allow what transpired over the years. Learn from my experience...

It's unfortunate that a GM of an organization would continue to allow management to run a corrupt operation, where "deals" were created among each other to advance themselves in order to get the division to run with a "puppet master" like show.

In today’s economy, you hate to see anyone lose a job, but in this case it was a strategic plan which was the removal of long term folks that made the magic happen. These magic people were part of a great technology from the very beginning. Experience is what answered complex and unique problems and this is what drove the business to substantial growth over the years.

The structure of how we conducted our day was with pure love for the technology of which we created with the original entrepreneurs. Our work ethics had incredible drive, deep critical thinking, driven by high octane was the main ingredient. This is where the problem lied when the mouth arrived. Unmatched talent, there was no way this guy could keep up with the group that existed.

By 2008, the "inner circle" was born. The ringleader was off course "bigmouth", then his "nephew" that had 0 commonsense, a large guy "Jim bob" that followed big mouth like a puppy dog, an HR manager that had a "snowman" like physique that is bias and lastly, a GM that was small in stature that puffed his chest out using his title.

Same time frame as above, the table was set for phase 1; elimination of some gems that did it day in and day out. These were half of the people that threatened the "inner circle" thugs.

2010, same as the above but now 90% are gone and the division is dictated by the puppet master with a big mouth.

Since, the division is suffering a slow death.

What these thugs don't know...they hold their heads up high while being laughed at and made fun of for years. Some of the actions demonstrated by them were pure frustration for what was waiting for them at home. However, an amazing group of talented folks received the soiled end of the stick for years.

All of us have moved on to other organizations displaying our relentless work ethic to help other organizations succeed. The time will come where the "inner circle" will crumble and they will fall down the ladder looking up at folks like us - Again!
