Hey wife grew up near there... She advises to NOT move there. BAD BAD neighborhood. Think you can find other places in JC to take advantage of.

First of all people he didn't give his exact address all he said was the street name, area and zip..He did not mention any house number or apt nmber..damn!! so anyway yes these people are right this area is not so good..I live around the same area and looking to get out.

Actually, he did mention the exact address, as the title of the thread is "Moving to 535 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Jersey City, NJ 07304". While he did not provide an apartment number, he did mention the exact street address.

But, in any event, since the OP posed his question in February, I really doubt that he is still awaiting anyone's opinion on the neighborhood and its local school. He either already decided to not move to that location, or did move there and has formed his own opinion on the local conditions.

Unfortunately every city that has a street named after that wonderful man is always a bad area. I don't understand it at all.

I wonder if the Mahatma Gandhi Blvds in India have the same problem.

They should put up street signs with pictures of weed on them to help tourists.

Maybe your missed history lessons on that day but Gandhi was shot and killed, so yes they do have safe problems.
