Is it nice?

Also, am I better off taking Route 3 or 17 to Paterson Plank Road to get there?

The Pegasus is an upscale restaurant/lounge in the racetrack. Its buffet style, but the food is very good and it has good decor, good views, etc.

General admission is pretty much what you would expect. Is it "nice"? Not sure I would say that, but its not a dump either.

It depends where you're coming from. I always take the Turnpike or 17 but 3 is fine if you're coming from that end. I don't go to the racetrack - football games and the occasional concert only and I prefer the lots where the Paterson Plank Road entrance is. Just going to the racetrack will not make a difference with the exception if you get off the Route 3 exit you'll have to drive around the entire stadium to get to it where as the 17/PP Road exit will lead you right to the racetrack.

I've been to Pegasus, when you say "upscale" you mean compared to Mc Donald's?

I used to LOVE to go to the Meadowlands racetrack. Haven't been in years.

Didn't know they still raced there. I like the thoroughbreds, not the roman chariot races

I was there a long time ago, and I thought it was upscale to the usual Jersey fair in - diners.

Jersey is not New York City.

1) 99.9% of NY is not nearly as nice as probably 80% of NJ. NYC is awesome, but so is NJ.
