This article made me do a little research on people with tanning addictions. Apparently, it's also called "tanorexia."
I think after awhile, these people lose their ability to see what they actually look like. Scary.
Scary. When I was in college I worked at a tanning place in Nutley, but I never tanned. The customers always looked orangey and when I cleaned the tanning beds there was a strange smell like something rotting. It freaked me out.
Hope that little girl is OK. She'd have to be in a bed for a while to burn. I don't find it too far-fetched to believe she got sunburned outside. Still, as a parent I never let my kids go out without sunblock in warmer weather.
Even if she only allowed the daughter in the room the UV light from the bed could do serious damage to her eyes, never mind the sunburn. And who was the genius who worked there that allowed the little girl in the room with her in the first place? Pretty sure there are rules against that.
She has an "unlimited" monthly membership and goes 5 days a week. Someone said her face reminded them that they have to buy their mom a leather handbag for Mother's Day!
A friend of mine said he wants to throw a baseball at her face because it looks like a catcher's mitt.
