If you are commuting to the Edison area, would it be an easier commute from East Brunswick or South Brunswick? How long would each take? Would these take more than a half hour?

Edison is large - which part will you be commuting to?

That being said....you should be able to make it from East Brunswick to Edison in 30min. Depending on where in Edison you are working, you might be able to hop on the turnpike at exit 9 and get off at 10 or 11. That would avoid Route 1 traffic.

South Brunswick to Edison is a longer distance and longer commute as you pretty much have to take Rt 1 the whole way up.
