Recently moved to Scotch Plains near Inman Grove Shopping Center and am trying to find the quickest route to Metro Park around 7:30 am. Def not Wood Avenue. Any ideas? What is a better time? Is this a slow period and does it get worse when school starts. So far commute that takes 15 minutes most other times takes anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes in the morning so far. Any suggestions? Last, is there a way to figure out when the freight trains come through as that adds 4 minutes to the commute by itself.
