Yes it's still there and going strong and attached in on the side there's also another little floating Japanese (I believe) restaurant as well.

By the way Roberto's rest. in Edgewater is excellent in case you've never been there!

Okay, I'll try Roberto's, never been there.

I went to Hiram's years and years ago, with my MIL, who loves hot dogs. We didn't like the hot dogs there--just thought they were too sweet and kind of soft. We're used to the fancy brands like Hebrew National! The fries were good, though. Hiram's is real old-time Fort Lee/Palisades Amusement Park.

You know they just changed the route of the old number 22 bus? It ran from Palisades Amusement Park down to Hoboken for many, many years--friend of mine told me he had ridden it when he was a teenager. Even after the park closed, the bus ran to Winston Towers, where the park used to be. They just stopped running it--now it only goes from Hoboken to North Bergen, I think.

There's a Japanese restaurant there? I know there's a floating one down by the Japanese grocery store. How's the food at the Binghamton? Have you been there recently?

That's odd. They are fried in grease and shouldn't be soft. I can't answer that. I'm sure you will enjoy Robertos.
