I just looked up the latest tracker and weather maps. It has definitely shifted further south in regards to path. Bloomberg sounds more relaxed today than yesterday so maybe the NY metropolitan area won't get it as bad.

No clue what OP is talking about. Track has been shifting northward tonight, currently forecast for basically slamming into Sandy Hook/NYC, pretty much the worst case scenario.

It's supposed to gain strength and turn into a N'oreaster. The winds may not be hurricane strength, but supposed to be up to 80mph down here, not gusts but sustained for at least 24 hours. The biggest problem is going to be tons of rain combined with full moon and storm surges.

The tv news is targeting Ocean County as where it makes landfall.
