I've been trying to stop my dependence on chain restaurants and instead have been trying out local places that I normally wouldn't even glance at....

But these two restaurants definitely stand out and my friends and I enjoyed both of them immensely. Just thought I would share! Great service, inexpensive food, and never had to wait at either of them.

Yeah E & V is also another great place. Haven't been there in years though, should check it out again.

If anyone knows of any other suggestions, let me know... anywhere in the Ridgewood/Wayne/Montclair area.

Montclair has a lot of good places. Try Toast (Bloomfield Ave) for breakfast or lunch. Culinarianne (Walnut St) is my favorite for dinner.
