So strange that this woman's boyfriend had a male roommate years ago that met the exact same fate:

yes it does seem strange but may just come down to the fact they were drinking in a bar, may of had one too many, not saying falling down drunk, but one too many and lost their footing and fell

That's exactly what I think happened. It's just such a weird thing that it happened at the same place. Not a good idea to get so drunk and walk around by yourself (although I it's better than driving).

Yeah and from some of the videotape it looks like a hazzardous walk plus may still have been ice laying around...

I remember a sad story from England a few years ago. Guy was getting married the next day and his buddies took him out. They put a ball and chain around his leg and took him out drinking. Then they let him walk home by himself. He fell off a bridge, and the ball and chain kept him underwater. Nice friends.

OMG, I just got chills ready this....I had wondered about her boyfriend all along....
but thought, stop!

I just cannot stop thinking about her, and I didn't even know her, it is just that I've spent a lot of my life over there....
and it seems so close to home.

also, a lot of people over there do live together and are not boyfriend or girlfriend, what I mean is they are not dating, they are simply living together to get by due to the high cost of living there.
