Hi. I'm looking for a pediatric neurologist near the Verona area. Ideally Essex County, but I'd also being willing to drive for a good doctor. No specific diagnosis yet. It's just a consultation appointment because my infant son's head is measuring large.

Thank you for any input/recommendations.
Although it is a little further of a drive for you, I have heard glowing recommendations regarding Harvey Bennett, MD his office is in Morristown, and he practices out of Morristown Medical Center as well as Overlook Hospital. For what it is worth, Bennett is also listed amongst the best in the nation by USNews where their ranking are from peer recommendations.

We go to Dr. Bennett for AD/HD & ODD monitoring. The best thing about Bennett's office is his NP, Patricia Ruiz. She's awesome!
I have also heard great things about Dr. Leonid Topper, in Morristown, off Whippany Rd. I have seen him with my other child for ASD consultation and liked him. My pediatrician recommends Topper over Bennett, a personal preference he said.
All that being said, AD/HD and ODD monitoring are possibly much different than what you may be dealing with. I would ask your Ped. for a recommendation, then google around for info on whoever the Ped. recommends. You want someone that specializes in whatever may have going on with the baby.
Does your pediatrician have any recommendations? What does he/she say about your baby's head size?
