Hello
I am new to South Brunswick, NJ and I am looking for a preschool for my 4 year old kid. I did see three Montessori schools in the area and was wondering if anyone can share their experiences. My only criteria is that my kid is happy, and has fun and does some learning along the way
Thanks so very much for the suggestion/recommendation.
I was also specifically looking into any kind of feedback about the Montessori schools in the Dayton/Kendall Park area -- are any of them good ?

Thanks in advance
I don't have any experience with that specific Montessori.
Thanks
The Goddard school seems really expensive, as compared to a few other preschools. If anyone has any suggestions for a good preschool in South Brunswick/Dayton/Kendall Park/North Brunswick area, please let me know
Children First Montessori School in Monmouth Junction is the best in the area. Their curriculum and care is excellent. You can visit their website at :: Children First Montessori School ::
Thanks. I was hoping to get some feedback from parents of kids who go to preschool and LOVE it. A lot of schools in South Brunswick area seem to be daycares.

Try the preschools that are housed in churches if you don't want a daycare. Even if you aren't the same religion as the church, you can still go there. Sometimes the daycares just rent the space from the church, some will have religion, some won't have any.
Preschools at daycares can be fine too. In fact, they often have better facilities and programs. We used one for preschool, even though we only went half-day and it was great.
Be careful with the Montessoris down there. For some reason, the quality really varies. There is no limit on who can call their school "Montessori." A good Montessori is really expensive, so if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Thanks so much, Ann77
Someone at the local park recommended St.Augustine's preschool in Kendall Park -- I went in on Friday; however, their PreK-4 is full (apparently registration was in February and it filled up fast). I was/am hesitant about using daycares for preschools -- but I should probably ask around a bit more. I visited one daycare/preschool -- and they said their a.m. hours begins at 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; I was looking more at a 2.5 to 3 hour/day preschool.
Yes, I will be careful with the Montessoris -- some of them are not even licensed. I wish there was something similar to Children's House Montessori in Highland Park around here. So, seems like I have some hunting around to do.
