Hi everyone,
My husband's job will be located in Parsippany. I was wondering which way was worse for traffic as far as commuting to the town each morning? We are considering Madison unless we can find a less expensive small town, family friendly, low crime, great school town within 30 minutes drive. (Open to other town suggestions!)
Thanks! We haven't been to NJ so trying to do some research as to where to visit before the big move.
Whippany fits the bill although its more boring than Madison (no real downtown, almost entirely residential except for rt 10). Pretty close to Morristown downtown though, and get ALOT more house for the money. Madison is great but you will pay a huge premium for the nice downtown and the great NYC access, the latter of which it doesn't sound like you need.
WHERE in Parsippany? That makes a huge difference because Parsippany straddles routes 80, 287, 46 and 10, all of which can be challenging.
Also, check out the sticky on the 1st page of NJ, give us budget and other details to be most helpful.
