So my wife and I are both self employed and looking to move to NJ. The problem is the tremendous cost of health insurance in the Garden State! We currently live in Indiana and purchase our own health insurance for about $350.00 per month.
Any small business owners or self employed people have any advice about what to do? All the quotes I've seen on coverage have been $500.00 and up...WAY up!
Our thought is to restructure our business and look for small group coverage - or possibly seek out an association plan. Any thoughts?
We both love the area, have family and tons of friends there.
I guess if all else fails we'll have to move to PA or DE.
