Doesn't matter. Once the tree falls on your property it's yours to dispose of, not your neighbor's.

Yes, I'm sure that is the least expensive and quickest solution for YOU. Check local laws, but usually it's your tough luck that it fell on your property and it is yours to deal with, not "return" to where the base of the tree was.

I think you are responsible for the branches on your side of the property?

While chatting with my neighbor one time, he gave me an idea of removing the whole tree in my yard which has few branches hovering on his backyard.

That's a $5000 job, which I believe it's more fair it's shared. otherwise, the tree stays.

I have a great neighbor. The huge tree limb that was in my yard is now gone. He just took care of it while I was away. That limb was the size of a tree, too.
