No you can park for free on the weekends (and after 7pm during the week) right next to the grove st path (unless something has changed in the last 6 months since i moved away). Steuben, warren and morgan as well as the surrounding streets often have spots that are free with no meter.

Uh if you are willing to drive 93mins to JSQ why not drive the extra twenty minutes into the city? Should have no trouble finding street parking in the city during weekends. You can still take the subway from where you park.

How about drive through the lincoln/holland, find parking close by and take the subway.

Tolls if you take parkway > 78 > tunnel would be $22, gas another $20 for round trip and $5 for subway = $46 total.

PS: parking at metropark is $5/day so if the rest of your costs are accurate then total is $51

Probably because it takes forever to get back through the Holland Tunnel at the end of the day

When I head into the city, I get through Holland easily at 9am, but coming back around 3-4pm omg... be prepared to spend 30+ minutes navigating that last half mile or so around Canal. One time I was stuck there for almost an hour inching through 5 blocks... wanted to shoot myself.

Ditto. I can time a trip inbound to avoid any delay at all. Coming out I almost always hit a huge delay. I sometimes take the Lincoln just because the odds are better there.
