Honestly, there's no excuse to why that city is in the shape its in. That city has the potential to be a major tourist attraction. All of the elements to make it happen is there. If I was the governor of Jersey, I would have pushed some resources over there to make that place alive.

they just need to demolish all the local garbage around the casinos so they can rebuild a nice street that people will be happy to walk down. we were there this past weekend and my wife wanted to visit the coach outlet. we parked about 6 blocks away and it was disgusting. i was angry that we had went there. then we get in the outlet and it is packed with a bunch of ugly women.

It doesn't help that every casino in DE, PA, NY and CT go out of their way to trash AC in ads either.

This has to be a bunch of lies.

Not the part about you being angry, we all get that. But what do you mean by "wife"? Your definition of "wife" doesn't include an imaginary person, right? There is no way someone is married to you. Was she an illegal looking for papers? Mail order? Do tell!!

I dont get the Atlantic City hate... I have a good time every time I am in AC.

It is what it is. It never was a "classy" place, and should never be a "classy" place. Its a place to have a good time and gamble... And believe me, you can have a great time in Atlantic City...

Yeah but really though, I know some people that went to AC once and it was cheap. From what I hear from people spending a day in AC, it sounds like a poor man's Las Vegas.
