I know i made an old thread asking about what's so appealing about new jersey, and tbh i was just looking at the whole state as bad based on experiences of ppl i knew who lived there and it just seemed like nj was just all about death/ bad ppl. i've realized that i shouldn't be mad at the whole state because of a few jerks since it's ppl like that all over the world; even where i'm at lol smh.
anyway, i plan on having a career in the forensics field when i finish my degree; a civilian criminalist to be exact. i've been looking at cities that i think i would want to live in after i graduate and also where the job outlook of my career may be good at.
so far, i've been thinking about houston tx, los angeles ca, and MAYBE somewhere in new jersey. but idk how the job outlook is in nj or if it's even worth living there.
any nj natives willing to help me out here?
* i'm 25 with no children. and i most likely will move by myself.
a civilian criminalist is more involved in cases, whereas a " REGULAR" criminalist is in the lab all day and given evidence to analyze without even knowing much about the case. a civilian criminalist is similar to a CSI without having to be a cop.

You might want to open up a thread in the Work and Employment forum; forget about the NJ forum for now.
