One news channel indicated the prior owner had asked to see the messages and the current owner has not provided any evidence yet. So they are wondering if it's hoax. When this qualifies as news we have too many news sources or too little real news.

Did The Watcher stop penning his monthly missives in July 2014? Why hasn't he kept writing? Perhaps he has ADD and got distracted from his mission by a shiny object. He's not upholding his watch very well. His ancestors are going to be disappointed.

I want to know how the letters were produced (handwritten, typed, words cut from magazines?) and how they were delivered.

Looks like they're trying to sell again, while the lawsuit continues. They reduced the price to $1.25 million N.J.'s creepy 'Watcher' house is back on the market

I still wonder about this case...could it be the new owners are lying, or could it be a disgruntled neighbor or someone who was outbid?

Has someone optioned the film rights to this yet? Because it's definitely going to be a movie. Maybe a Lifetime movie.

Not without a resolution. Gotta have a bad guy that gets caught in a Lifetime movie.

I can't help but wonder if this family is trying to create a modern day Amityville Horror sans the supernatural. Maybe a book deal with a movie? Steve Buscemi as "the Watcher"!

Though not a new article I found it interesting... some feel the family made up the whole thing.

I Went To Westfield, NJ To Track Down The Watcher: Gothamist
