Looking for 2BR 1 Bath investment opportunity in NJ - Any other landlords out there? please share your thoughts as this might be a good time to invest in RE especially in NJ since the mortgage rates are low and home prices have fallen recently, not by much in NJ but still by 3-4% than prior levels.
From other landlords, I have heard that I should be looking closer to NYC, closer to public transportation, good school systems, etc. since its easier to find tenants in those properties but share your thoughts and provide recommendations of what you think might be good area or developments to invest with hopefully price appreciation and getting tenants easily to rent out.
You do not necessarily need to invest closer to NYC. There are many developments within Somerset County: Bridgewater, Basking Ridge..... particularly The Hills in Bedminster. Most are good investments, and yes, now is the time to buy.
