I am looking for somewhere to go this weekend (Friday or Saturday) with the wife. We are active people and want to go do something fun or interesting. Willing to stay overnight in an area if the drive is over a few hours each way.
Some past trips that we both really liked recently...
1.) Mohonk Mountain House, NY
2.) New Hope, Lambertville
So pretty open to all suggestions. We love animals so if there is something that can incoprorate animals that would be a bonus. Ideally something within a 3 hour drive from Philadelphia maybe a tad longer if worth it. Even short trips to neat sights, musuems, something different.
DH and I are going there this weekend. You can get hotels dirt cheap right in Center City on Hotwire or Priceline. We got one for $72/night. Great shopping, museums, history and restaurants and plenty of cool bars!
Join the Ferrymen Ghost Hunters as they investigate 3 haunted locations in New Hope, one of PA'S most haunted towns. March 26th. In Hopes to find a ghost or two!! Starts 10 Am.*
Visit the Van Sant Bridge, 63 Ferry St & investigate and sleep in one the towns top haunted locations...Logan Inn.*
Guests MUST book a room at the Logan Inn to participate in this hunt as they require it for us to investigate there.
*
Guests may book online at their site Logan Inn if you are interested in attending.
I have a feeling they found something to do that weekend.
