I just had an incidenct where an older white woman completely ignored me asking her a question about a trail. Froze, then ignored me while visiting the reserve there.

She looked extremely out of place, had those ski/alpine climbing sticks and looked nipped and tucked like an UES wife. Wouldn't be surprised if she was a New Yorker who finally decided to move across the pond.

Disgusting. I put her in her place when I reminded her what she was in a post-Obama world to see a look of shock that someone dares speak back. I'm sorry if you are visiting my home state, but please keep your racist mindset somewhere else.

Good news was that a few younger guys and a middle age couple DID help. Unreal to see someone just completely act as if a grown man isn't there. Disgusting.

Came across this too on a quick GOogle search: https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUser...ew_Jersey.html

Seems like a lot of close minded people live yonder.

Stop posting BS. Nobody has an obligation to talk to you. As for the zoo, in my experience large groups are often unruly.

I'm sorry my 'expereince' is not bull****t. I asked for directions and felt humiliated by a racist who looked down on someone, who in all likelihood, has been in this state longer than she has.

I'm sure you never have felt like someone didn't even acknowledge your existence. Probably out of their own fear or reality based something like FoxNews

She acknowledged me by looking at me, looked away into the yonder, and the proceeded walking like I wasn't there.

I usually find that anyone claiming racism is mostly the racist themselves.
Practically speaking maybe the other person was a foreign visitor and didn't speak English or was just engrossed in some other thought? Or just wasn't familiar with the area?

I don't think anyone is racist anyway, people jyst have the right to their own thoughts and opinions.
