The Hawthorne Train station parking situation is a mess-- Lot is too small, I always end up having to either take an uber or get dropped off, blah blah it sucks....
But I was poking around on this site the other day:

Basically, there are sections that list what parking rules apply to what streets. I noticed that Washington Ave north of Diamond Bridge Avenue does not have any parking regulations applied.
What's stopping me from parking here:
