Hard Rock is INVESTING $300M, they did not pay $300M. I dont think terms were announced but i thought i came across $30M which is A LOT less than the 90M that the buyer paid for revel.

In the burglary involving unauthorized entry, the state need not prove breaking as proof of an entry without breaking is still an offense.
Yet another clueless NJ loser. Trump hasn't owned the building for years. As far as not paying the contractors, yet again the clueless. He paid everything except about four million for shoddy work that didn't meet the standards. The payment is in the courts. But I guess the idiots in HNJJ pay for substandard work and happily walk away. Just what I want in a Prtesident. Accept less then satisfactory work and pay for it with my tax dollars.

The entire sh*thole city failed. Guess you forgot other casinos folded at the same time. the city will never revive as long as it's a dump a block off the beach.

The unions screwed up that casinos and others. the new owners closed it for the same reason when the unions demanded more. They showed him. they put themselves out of work. We'll see how the unions make out now that the Indians have bought the place and will be reopening it. They managed to help close five of the twelve casinos in the city.

The difference between New Hampshire and New Jersey can be summed up in the fact that enough of us know contractors whose bills were not paid and it wasn't for shoddy work but because written contracts were not followed.

But, when you are affected by something you were promised you might start to catch on.

Revel cost 2 billion to build and presumably does not need to be significantly renovated given how new it is. The buyer got a steal, shame the us who bought it is squandering the opportunity

Hard rock seems like a well run company, hopefully this works out for them, Taj has a great location on the boardwalk and I honk it's important that it be occupied

Come on that is not fair. Why do you always have to get rid of the blacks and hispanics and replace with more Asians, and Whites for it to be good? The Casinos should invest back into community, and hire locals

you know hard rock is not shy of the gambling. I am sure they will nook some good acts, but they are right next door to Magariteville.

AC does need something big to change its image. We go there as a family to catch the airshow, or for a quick 3 day weekend from NYC . we go only for the beach/boardwalk and discount vouchers for the buffet! The shopping outlets did have its appeal, but the prices are not that low.

too bad there are too many lost souls wandering the streets just 1 block from the boardwalk. walking zombies after hours. the stick out like sore thumbs!

AC used to be a big deal, a large scale and classier coney island. they should bring that back, and follow the non gambling trend of other boardwalk beach towns. But that gambling brings visitors year around, unlike the other places.

I live about an hour from AC. Been studying it for years. My personal opinion but I think it should just about all be torn down and residential housing built. AC as a resort is long over..
