What happens if a member of that healthy American family gets sick or is in a serious accident? You can easily burn through five figures a day in an ICU. I guess they should start a GoFundMe page, right?

First you will get the same treatment by law as someone who does, next the hospital will work with you. Last option is declaring medical bankruptcy (which doesnt take your assets).
