I am moving to northern New Jersey in 3 weeks and am looking for some stores that sell furniture at reasonable prices. Basically not looking for high-end furniture, but not flimsy made products either.
I found one site that offers nice furniture at decent prices, but not sure about the quality:
Regomattress.com
If anyone can add some more to the list so I have time to look before I move to NJ I would appreciate it.
Suburban Furniture in Ledgewood has decent stuff at reasonable prices and they typically do that no payment, no interest for like 20 years..lol : ) I also second Hackettstown Trading Post. There's also a Seamans and Levitts on Rt. 46? in Wayne I believe.

Seamns & levitts closed, I know for sure Levitts went outta business. There's a Raymour & Flanigan now there. try also town & country in Fairfield.
I actually think the HackettstownTrading Post is quite pricey. Anything I have ever seen there and liked, I have been able to get elsewhere for less.
But their quality and customer service is worth the few extra bucks! I bought a desk set from JC Penney - had them back here 5 times because the furniture was damaged and/or flimsy - The first time I had them come back, the scrath the main desk while trying to replace another piece for the computer desk! Tried to get me to say it was already damaged so that the delivery guys wouldn't get in trouble. I sent it back finally and went to hackettstown Trading Post - same maker but the quality just seems a little better. I know some vendors will downscale their product for the so called chain stores so that the chain stores can sell it for cheaper. Oh and JC Penney - returned my money but never the money I spent for delivery which I thought was in bad taste!

Well, all I can tell you is that I'm bias because my wife works there, and I know this much, compared to other stores, their markup is minimal, their delivery charges are pretty reasonable and their customer service is execptional, but as I said, I'm bias.
