Interested in buying home in Union county (Cranford, Scotch Plains, Berkeley Heights)- Any recommendations? (Fanwood: schools)

Hi all, I’m familiar with the general area of Union county and would love recommendations on a solid town within the county to raise a family with great schools that will also continue to hold it’s value for resale etc.

My family has also considered moving farther out to Clinton, Bridgewater or Long Valley because of the quaint charm of these towns, but would have to sacrifice commuting. Is it worth it?
