Exactly, lol. I’m from Bergen County and tons of people act like this, especially in the northern part.

Honestly, the two nosy women annoyed me even more. Standing there sucking up to the chancellor. “Thoughtful” doesn’t mean holding people in power to a different standard. It’s quite the opposite actually. What a moron.

She makes $500,000 per year, no wonder tuition is so high.

However, this phenomenon isn't limited to Rutgers, nor is it limited to NJ. Whether somebody likes a particular governor or not, does it make any sense that all of the top college administrators and most college football coaches are paid far more than a state's Chief Executive?

Heck, many college administrators and college football coaches are paid more than the President of The US! How does that make any sense?

I just checked the salary of Rutgers' head football coach, and it exceeds $2 million per year.
Let's think about this factoid: His salary is 5 times that of The President of The US.

Two of his assistant coaches are paid in excess of $500,000 each per annum. And yet, Rutgers' pay scale for coaches pales by comparison with the salary of coaches at the other Big Ten schools.

I recall reading an article that stated the cost of education has risen well above the cost of living for a couple of decades. I suspect that due to creating a bloated admin structure.

You have big gov't, big business and now big education. We just paid off our HELOC that we used to fund the lion's share of our son's education.

It was a whopper.

... and then, there's this outrageous situation. Is it any wonder that the cost of higher education is out of control?

You should of waited to pay off your Home Loan. Some candidates were promising freebies the other day. We could of both mailed in our HELOCs and someone else would pay for it.
