I am planning on moving to NJ which county has the best services and residential homes for a 20 year old young adult with behaviors.We either need respite at home or a residential center

I won't know the answer to this, but I live in Morris County and my brother's friend has severe autism (where he cannot talk) and he is 21. Back in grade school, I remember he would get picked up by the small buses from our public school system, which will take him to a special school, but I have no clue where he goes to. He still goes to a special school, but I do not see the small yellow school bus driving down my street anymore.

You might want to look into the Devereux Foundation, which runs residential treatment programs and group homes for people with developmental disabilities. None of their facilities are near Morristown, though.
