I'm going to be going to Atlantic City next Saturday just for the day. Are the bathrooms/changing rooms opened in Atlantic City? Also, are they limiting people on the beach? Should I get there super early?

No limits on any Jersey beach that I’m aware of but they ask for social distancing. Yes bathrooms are open.

Thank you.

Lucy the Elephant is also opened! YAY! I've never visited her before, but I would like to.

I love Lucy! We took the tour once. It's only a few dollars, and they tell you her history while you look out the windows in her butt, lol.

I'll be going on Sunday instead because of weather. Sunday is supposed to be beautiful; I can't wait to see Lucy and I can't wait to go to the beach. How long should I plan for Lucy? An hour? Half an hour?

Well if the inside is open maybe that long but if not you won’t need that long. But it’s right next to s restaurant and bar on the beach that you can sit at outside table and look at Lucy. There’s also an old NY style deli in Margate called Downbeach Deli that’s one of my favorites. You might as well go to the beach in Margate too, it’s a nice beach. Not sure about bathrooms. But you can go about 1/2 mile north to Ventnor Pier which has a public restroom.

Are the beaches free in Margate?

No it’s not, I’m sorry I didn’t think of that! If you go on AC beach farther down by the AC Hilton (I think it might be Ocean Casino now) you’ll be much closer to Margate too. Not sure if they have a beach bar but those can be fun areas to hang because they usually have music even in the daytime.

I didn't get to go to Lucy, I had so much fun at the beach! I want to go back in October; I think autumn would be a beautiful time to go.

I'm going to blog about my day trip at some point and I'll share. The weather was perfect and I met some awesome people.
