Hi!
My family is looking to relocate to NJ where there are excellent schools and a nice safe somewhat walkable town. Also looking for convenience for shopping etc. Fair haven and little silver seem really nice but curious if there is any sense of jewish community there. We are not religious but definitely don't want to feel like outliers.
Thankful for any advice !

I am near but not in any of those towns (or Jewish myself), but there are certainly Jewish people in the area. There is an active Reform Temple in Tinton Falls, and there is a Conservative congregation in Rumson, the latter of which borders both towns you mention. Which by the way, are both very nice places to live.

My brother lives in Rumson and my sister in law is on the board at the Archdiocese of Newark.

She tells me that of the residents of Rumson, Fair Haven and Little Silver who regularly practice their religions, approximately 70% are Christian and 45% of that 70% are Catholics.

However, there are quite a few Jewish families in each of these towns. My sister in law tells me that most of her Jewish friends attend temple in Red Bank.

I grew up in the area. Red Bank is an amazing place and so are the surrounding towns. I wish I was still there but my career takes me elsewhere.

My grandfather regularly attended Church of the Nativity in Fair Haven. His business partner attended Congregation B'nai Israel across the street. Being Jewish in Monmouth County is like being Italian. Ubiquitous.

With that said, the larger Jewish communities are slightly further south and centered around Oakhurst and stretching into Elberon, Deal, and Wayside. There's also a large community in Marlboro and Manalapan. If you plug it in to Google maps you'll see that Reform temples outnumber Conservative and the Orthodox are mostly in the Elberon and West End sections of Long Branch and a little bit in Bradley Beach.
