nah that's too much.. Rt 4 is too far north at its starting point.. the only town that would count is Fort Lee.. aside from that, it goes too far west.. that's comfortably Tri-state North Jersey suburbia..
i only count Hudson County mainly for NYC Jersey.. the only additions are those few towns south of the GW Bridge that's TECHNICALLY Bergen County, but all us locals joke about those towns still just being Hudson County (like Fairview, Cliffside Park, etc).. and Newark, mainly bc the PATH ends there and the airport is there, and the trenches still look a lot like NYC trenches..
You leaving out Leonia, Bogota, Hackensack, Teaneck, Englewood, Maywood, Rochelle Park, and Fairlawn.
Actually some towns north of Rte 4 deserves a mention like Bergenfield, New Milford, Riveredge, Dumont.
All those towns have more in common with Eastern Queens, like Whitestone, Bayside, Staten Island.

nah i just can't lol.. just literally Hudson County, those few towns from Southeastern Bergen County (literally just bc it's south of the bridge, looks and feels JUST like Hudson County), and the city of Newark (only bc of the PATH train and the airport really.. in some ways, Newark has more of that "Jersey" identity / feel than Jersey City or Hudson County does)..
i do understand where ur coming from though.. the reason i just can't is bc those towns just scream Bergen County to me.. it might not be like Alpine, but it's not Fairview or Cliffside Park either..
i mean at that point where u say Fair Lawn, why not just throw in Paterson too?? Paterson, by itself, definitely looks like the hood part of an NYC outerborough, but it's too disjointed from the other boroughs to count.. too much suburbia between Paterson and NYC
also i would even throw in Passaic and Clifton.. as well as Elizabeth, East Orange, Linden, and Irvington before most of the towns you mention.. the second group are pretty connected to Newark.. but all those towns too deep IMO
Where do you put the Jersey Shore ? It runs from Sandy Hook to Cape May , 130 miles.
