Thank God for this. Although it should have been cancelled due to the mere fact so many folks were against it, looks like it was cancelled for other reasons.

Orsted was cancelled and took billions of our tax money. There is still Shell Oil's Atlantic Shores Wind Turbine farm which is 8.2 miles offshore from LBI through Brigantine. Hudson Yards Offshore wind project is about to be approved and there are two more wind turbine farms that Murphy has received bids for. Additionally, Orsted still has the land lease and will either be subleasing the land to another project, will do mining offshore now or receive a massive bailout from Biden Administration.

This is just a nice start to watch the rest of them fail. Murphy wants to throw hundreds of millions back into Orsted for lawsuits. Its just a moneypit that taxpayers and people paying for utilities will have burden the costs for years to come.

The Hudson South/NY Blight area off north Jersey is approved for a whopping 994 turbines. It will be carved up into multiple projects.

The surefire way to cancel ALL offshore wind in NJ is to vote for candidates opposed to Big Wind on Nov 7th. You can find candidates opposed to Big Wind listed by district here.

The Green New Deal/Net Zero politicians have got to go.

It's not over until it's over.

That being said someone is going to be caught with their pants down. Either Orsted or NJ state democrats will have to face the music.

My money is on Orsted having legions of competent legal advice who drew up agreements who know what they were doing and covered all bases. That would leave Murphy and democrats facing trying to make lemonade out of lemons. All this with elections just days away. Oh dearie me.....

Which means its even more important we all show up on Election Day in person and vote these far left Democraps out! We can do it! Murphy only won 2nd term by a hair. The Senate can be overturned. Even folks who normally vote Democrap must be sick of how much they are wasting our tax dollars and vote smarter from now on.

There was a reason why nobody had a say in the wind turbines. What Murphy did to bypass all public votes and say was likely unconstitutional and certain a case will be brought up, Cape May just filed lawsuit a few days ago on something similar. There were several pages in the plan on how they would bypass lawsuits and public vote/say on even having them.

I'm still burning mad when state elected Democrats (senate and assembly) gave away a billion dollars to "bailout" Denmark's Orsted back in August, full-well knowing they had financial turbulence and needed much more funding. Literally 2 days after they voted to give them the billion dollars, Orsted publicly announced ("Thank you America, specifically New Jersey") in their quarterly investor call that they would still abandon the project. What these Democrat Senators and Assembly did was choose their careers to attain Murphy support over the people of New Jersey and their constituents. Utility rates are going up XX% for every customer in the state going forward because of one of the most foolish things I've witnessed.

Every single one of these state politicians who voted for this bailout needs to be voted out next week. Actually next week is a super rare event, its when ALL 120 state seats are up for election.

The Cape May federal lawsuit alleges that the government agencies shortcut their own regulatory requirements enacted to protect the environment, natural resources and people when they approved Ocean 1.

This is the master plan for wind turbines on the East Coast.

BOEM admits that this will have no impact on global temperatures or CO2 levels. So all of this destruction is for nothing except money in union and politicians pockets.

Is this what we want for New Jersey? Our marine life can't survive in this steel junkyard.

Vote them out!

That picture is wild, the cancelled Ocean Wind makes up practically nothing of the overall plan.

Also, another whale died on 10/31 hasn't washed onshore yet.

I hear you. That map is an outrage. Our ocean has been sold to the highest bidder.

How many people living in Atlantic coastal states have seen this map? NOBODY. People are in the dark about this.

If you took the millions of acres of ocean approved for offshore wind in NJ, and laid it over a map of NJ, it would cover roughly half of the state. All to supposedly power a relatively small number of homes.

I saw a video of the dead whale floating. Not surprising as sonar surveys are ongoing off NJ/NY.

The southward migration of the whales is mostly over now or else we would have more dead washing up like this summer.
