In my neighborhood, two drive by. The first one I don't really like because it sells frozen ice cream (popsicles, Italian ices, etc.). The second one, however, sells floats, milkshakes, soft ice cream cones, sundaes, and Banana splits. I love going to this truck when I don't feel like driving to a real ice cream parlor. Ice cream is great, especially for this weather we're having!

Wow! I would love if such a personalized service would drive by my house. We live on a small street so we don't get any of the ice cream or ice trucks. It would be a nice treat once in a while.

We also have 2. One that drives up and down the streets every evening...I've never checked it out, and then I live on a lagoon and on weekends a boat drives up and down selling Italian Ices...the only thing better would be frozen Margaritas!

I would love a truck that sold shakes & stuff, that would be so great.

We did have an ice cream truck in our neighborhood and this guy would never turn down our street - with lots of kids! The kids would be out there waving their hands and yelling for the guy to turn at our block. One day my husband did get him and told him if he came down our street there were lots of kids that would buy from him. Sometimes he did and other times he didn't, I could never figure that guy out!

When we were kids, we always had the Good Humor man drive by (ding, ding, ding).

Nobody comes around here.

Me Too! I love Mr. Softee. For some reason he doesn't come to Ridgewood.

We have a renegade truck that meanders through Hoboken some days, but good luck stopping him. The way he drives you swear he was peddling crack, and was being chased by the boys in blue.

We just moved into our new house yesterday, and an ice cream truck came by! I was so excited, as I've rarely seen that happen in NJ. It must have been an answer to our movers' prayers; they were so happy to have their Italian ice.
